During the last weekend of November, Markéta Kalábová represented the Czech Republic at the 5th International Hunting Event for Women in Hunting, held near Prosenjakovci, Slovenia.
The event was organised by Društvo slovenskih lovk and brought together participants from several countries, including Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, Austria, Slovenia, and the Netherlands. The gathering provided a platform for exchanging experience and strengthening international cooperation among women engaged in hunting and related activities.
As part of the programme, Markéta Kalábová presented upcoming results of the SHUNTDIEM project, including tools being developed to support sustainable hunting tourism. She also introduced ongoing research focused on the hunting tourism sector conducted at the Faculty of Forestry and Wood Sciences.
The event contributed to promoting knowledge exchange, building professional networks, and highlighting the role of women in sustainable hunting.
