The Hunting Dictionary app, developed within the SHUNTDIEM project, was officially presented at the international Silva Regina trade fair by Czech team member Markéta Kalábová. The application was showcased to an expert commission, where it competed for the Golden Medal of Silva Regina and received a nomination for the Exhibition Award.
The Hunting Dictionary is a unique multilingual tool containing more than 1,200 specialised terms in eight languages. It is designed to support communication and knowledge sharing in the field of hunting tourism. Once downloaded, the application is fully accessible offline, making it suitable for use even in remote areas.
The app was developed through the collaboration of four partner universities: Czech University of Life Sciences Prague, University of Novi Sad, University of Zagreb, and Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. The technical solution was delivered by the Faculty of Economics and Management, Department of Systems Engineering at CZU.
By helping to overcome language barriers, the application contributes to the development of sustainable hunting tourism across Europe. The app will soon be available on Google Play and App Store.
