The Faculty of Forestry and Wood Sciences at the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague recently hosted visiting lecturers Milosava Matejević and Vladimir Marković from the University of Novi Sad.
During a three-day intensive programme, the guests delivered a specialised course titled “Wildlife Tourism in EU Countries”. The course provided students with an opportunity to engage with international experts and explore current approaches to sustainable tourism across Europe, including aspects of nature conservation and hunting tourism.
An important feature of the course was its delivery in English, offering many students their first experience with academic instruction in a foreign language. The participants approached this challenge with strong engagement and motivation.
A total of 62 students enrolled in the course, reflecting growing interest in sustainable tourism and environmentally responsible travel. The visit also contributed to strengthening international cooperation within the SHUNTDIEM project framework.
