SHUNTDIEM presented at a summer workshop for talented high school students

In the second half of July 2025, the Faculty of Forestry and Wood Sciences at the Czech University of Life Sciences (ČZU) held a two-day summer workshop for talented high school students interested in nature, science, and modern technologies.

During the event, young participants had the opportunity to try their hand at microscopic work, virtual shooting, a harvester simulator, and practical creation – they made their own wooden products and substrate for growing pink oyster mushrooms.

The program also included a presentation of the SHUNTDIEM project. It highlighted the main objectives of the initiative: to connect studies (especially for students involved in hunting and tourism) with practice through digital tools and international cooperation (e.g., a digital dictionary, online course, web platform, and summer schools).
