The SHUNTDIEM project was presented on 11 October 2025 at the event “Day with Hunters”, held in Hradec Králové at the Stříbrný rybník campsite. The event, organised by Městské lesy Hradec Králové, is a well-established public gathering focused on hunting, forestry, and nature conservation.
The programme featured a wide range of activities for both professionals and the general public, including demonstrations of falconry and hunting dogs, presentations of hunting traditions and modern practices, educational activities for children, and interactive experiences. Visitors could also attend a game cooking competition, culinary shows, and a closing cultural programme.
The SHUNTDIEM team introduced the project’s objectives and upcoming outputs, engaging with a broad audience interested in sustainable hunting tourism and education. The event attracted thousands of visitors, providing an opportunity to share knowledge, discuss current challenges in the sector, and strengthen connections with stakeholders and the wider public.
Participation in events of this type supports the project’s aim to link education, research, and practice while promoting sustainable approaches to hunting tourism.
