Prof. Dr. Sc. Nikica Šprem and Dr. Sc. Andrea Rezić participated in the 14th European Vertebrate Management Conference, held from 12 to 16 May 2025 in Ankaran, Slovenia.
During the conference, Prof. Šprem contributed as an invited speaker with a lecture titled “Challenges for Ungulates in the Era of the Alpha Generation”, focusing on current and future issues in ungulate management.
As part of the presentation, the Croatian team also introduced the SHUNTDIEM project, presenting its objectives and ongoing activities in the field of sustainable hunting tourism to an international audience of researchers and practitioners.
Participation in the conference provided an opportunity to share knowledge, strengthen professional networks, and increase awareness of the project within the scientific community.
