SHUNTDIEM presented at two international events in Italy

From 6 to 9 February 2025, the 7th International WaSH Conference (Women and Sustainable Hunting) took place in Lazise, on the shores of Lake Garda, Italy. The event brought together more than 80 participants from 12 countries to discuss sustainable hunting practices, the role of women in game management, and the promotion of game meat as part of a healthy and sustainable diet. The programme included expert presentations, culinary demonstrations, and a visit to the Ca’ Erizzo Luca Wildlife Museum in Bassano del Grappa.

As part of the programme, SHUNTDIEM was presented by project coordinator Markéta Kalábová and Milosava Matejević from the University of Novi Sad. Their presentation focused on the project’s approach to sustainable hunting, nature conservation, and environmental education.

The project was also featured at the EOS Show 2025, held in Verona from 8 to 10 February 2025. As one of the most significant European fairs for hunting, sport shooting, fishing, and outdoor activities, EOS provided an international platform for stakeholders to exchange ideas and strengthen collaborations.

Participation in both events helped raise the international profile of SHUNTDIEM and facilitated new partnerships in the field of sustainable game management and education.
